Friday wasnapos;t a very good day. My professor called me an idiot in front of the whole class. Okay, so Iaccidently put in "13 half steps" instead of "12 half steps"as one of the answers on my homework. I learn from my mistakes and it was a careless mistake, nothing drastic. But no, my professor decided to make it into a really big deal and called me an idiot in front of everyone. Ontop of that, everyone laughed. Great...thanks a lot jerk. Thatapos;s what I need, to be thought as the "idiot of the class" now. He doesnapos;t do it with the other students who made mistakes on their homework. No, he decided to only do it to me. I just lost respect for you as my teacher and as a musician. *grumbles*
Iapos;ve also been sick since this past Wednesday. Great, just what I need:Being sick and havinapos; to interact with my co-workers and students at work. On Friday was probably the worst since that day Iapos;m just piled up with vocal students. So me losing my voice and coughing up a lung + students (around age 6 - 10) + me have to sing w/ students = VERY BAD. It would just make me feel really bad if I got my 6 year old student sick. =___=;;
One thing that was good was that my adult student didnapos;t come in at all. Ididnapos;t like her, and her attitude was horrible. Sheapos;s more for trying to get over her nerves than trying to sing well. I personally didnapos;t know what to tell her. Iapos;ve been playing accordion, piano, and been in choir for years.All I do is just go up there, look stoic, do my thing, and thatapos;s it.I donapos;t really think when Iapos;m up there. All I think about it the music and thatapos;s it. But I canapos;t really say that to her...so it was sort of good that I get paid if she doesnapos;t show up since she paid for a monthapos;s worth of lessons.
