Today, I have been mostly making a tunic for my mother and listening to the radio adaptation of Lord of the Rings.

Itapos;s really rather good, isnapos;t it, in spite of a few unfortunate factual mistakes and some oddities of vocabulary (Legolas using the name apos;Melkorapos;, Shagrat using the name apos;Barad-durapos;)?

To my very great shame, it actually succeeded in making me feel sorry for Frodo today. Bad me. Very bad me. Not to do that again.

PS. Why did the Doctor Who production team think reusing the effects tape made to depict Shelob for Morbius once he had gone mad was a good idea. And did they reallyt think no-one would notice?
